All seaplane journeys are made during daylight hours. To catch the last seaplane transfer for the day, guests must check in at the seaplane counter at the airport before 4 pm. Arrival guests who are not able to check-in at the seaplane counter by 4 pm will be required to stay overnight in Malé. We recommend booking a hotel within proximity to the airport.

For international departure flights starting from 9:00 till late evening, seaplane transfers will be arranged from the resort to the airport. We loved our stay and would not hesitate to return / recommend to our friends.
The Staff were extremely friendly and kind, taking special actions (birthday message on our bed, champagne in the evening) to make it a very special holiday. Really appreciated the staff attempting to use our names when they greeted us, this was a very nice touch. Aliya was brilliant and very helpful.
The timbers on the boardwalk to our water villa were obviously aged and in need of repair, which meant that we needed to wear shoes to/from our vila. It appears that you are replacing the worst of the timbers progressively, however would suggest that this may need some accelerated actions. Also, we noted that a number of the water villa were in need of external repainting which does tend to make the units look a bit tired. After speaking with the Manager, we understand that there is work underway to stimulate new coral growth in the lagoon area. This is a positive step as the snorkelling experience around your resort was not as enjoyable as the experience which we had at another nearby (Vilamindhoo) report, with factors such as stronger wave action/less impressive coral being a natural factor which Outrigger needs to overcome.
